Rod Wave during his “Nostalgia” tour in D.C., had a lot of thieves come out to the show too as they hit the parking lot at Capital One Center and broke into multiple cars but not as much as what social media made it out to be.
The narrative that social media put out after Rod Wave’s Monday night show was that more than 200 cars were broken into, but the police department says they only have 4 reports of break-ins as of now.
There could be more upcoming reports coming up in the next few days but no where near the 200 that is being said across social media.
For the unfortunate fans that did have their cars broken into had serious damage to their cars as they had smashed windows, and they lost about everything that had some value in the car.
