Polo G’s attorney Bradford Cohen announces that “Polo is being held to under the guise that the police department needs to double check that he is not a convicted felon as there was a purported firearm found in the home. He is not and never was a convicted felon. Any precious charges he had I got dismissed and it’s all public record. They are also denying myself and my California law partner Zoey Aron access to him while he is being illegally detained.”

The law enforcement says the reason that Polo G was detained was because they needed to know if he was harboring a fugitive as the warrant was for his brother Taurean or mainly known as Trench Baby.

Polo G’s house was surrounded by police and Polo G was in handcuffs.

The police officers ordered everyone in the house to come out one by one and then placed them in handcuffs while they went into the property to conduct their search.

The warrant was related to a robbery that took place where they have 4 suspects in custody but have yet to be booked.

Someone on Polo G’s team gave a statement saying that the rapper was just detained as a part of the active investigation but was not the focus.

He also said “We are hopeful the LAPD will handle this matter with tact and transparency.”
