SZA and Keke Palmer are hyping each other up less than a month before the debut of their upcoming film, One of Them Days.

SZA called Palmer “the most talented person” she’s ever met and expressed admiration for her, saying, “Kinda scary but also inspiring… not actually sure she’s human.”

Palmer responded to SZA’s praise: “If I’m not human, neither are you superstar.”

SZA credited Palmer with helping her acclimate to her first movie role, saying, “When I got on camera, it was spooky, but Keke literally ushered me through.”

Palmer referenced their popular SNL gif as the beginning of their friendship, saying, “Getting this opportunity to do this movie with her has been an unbelievable journey.”
