Dame Dash recently spoke out about his ongoing issues with JAY-Z, expressing his willingness to speak the truth about their past.
In a podcast interview, Dash used a drug-dealing analogy to explain his feelings about being mistreated by JAY-Z in business.
“If I hit a n-gga with a pack — I hit him with some work — and he runs off on me … until I get my money back, I don’t care if it’s 20 years later, I’m never going to have too many complimentary things to say about that situation. Yeah, we was cool, but he ran off with 10 birds [kilos of cocaine], so what do you expect?” said Dame.
He also discussed his desire to regain control of Roc-A-Fella Records, which he co-founded with JAY-Z and Biggs. Dash was involved in a legal dispute over an alleged NFT auction of JAY-Z’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt, but the parties reached a settlement.
