The estranged couple performed on separate stages at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Sunday night (December 31) in Miami, Florida.

Although Cardi confirms that she hooked up with Offset for New Year’s Eve, she’s clear that they aren’t back together.

Cardi explained to Entertainment Tonight that while they were both in separate sections, it felt awkward, so they decided to chill together. While it was a nice night, Cardi says they both have to work on their communication.

“It’s a fun night, then guess what, the next day we’re arguing, the next day I’m blocking. The next thing you know, we aren’t talking for four days. I don’t want to keep that cycle going,” she added.
