In celebration of 2024, Meek Mill, who has been inspiring people with his motivational rhymes for more than ten years, offers even more advice to those who want to improve their lives.
On Tuesday, January 2, the CEO of Dreamchasers took to Twitter with a New Year’s resolution for his millions of followers: Meek wants kids to focus on their studies and use education to escape poverty rather than working as street vendors.
“Being gangsta will get you hurt, put in jail, or killed …… being smart will get you out of poverty, and your family and friends living better,” he wrote. “It’s no comparison; being smart is the only solid way out the trenches… everything else is [a] wide range [of] life risk just to survive!”
Fans reminded Meek to take his own advice. “Remember this next time you write Meek. No more ‘I got a hundred shooters in ma block.’ There’s a straight line between the hit records out here and the news headlines,” one person responded. “We all can do better.”
