Kodak Black wants his case dismissed for drug possession according to his lawyer who says that the pain pills were OTC and were fully legal.
Kodak got caught in Ft. Lauderdale all the way back in July 2022 and was hit for one count of possession of a controlled substance and a count of trafficking oxycodone, but tests have came back and says the pills were just Tylenol.
Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen is accusing the Broward Sheriff Office of a cover-up involving a FBI Special Agent James Mitchell, who Cohen says is very biased against Kodak.
He claims that the prosecutor has tried to withhold a body cam video of a officer surveilling Kodak, and saying that he is always ready as the camera was focused on the cops gun.
Cohen has also said that the original pills were tested and destroyed in the process, and they never gave a report despite the results showing that they were just over the counter pain meds.
