“ON THE RIVER (Live Session)” went viral. His on-screen personality as a youngster earned Wave accolades on social media. People also praised Offset for highlighting his family in his art.

Cardi B, Offset’s wife, commented on the online response to their Ctrl visual. In particular, she told her son, “Good job, Wavey.” Cardi tweeted, “YEUP!!!!!” That’s what he said, we call him Wavey, boy, man.”
