Millennial Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy was disappointed when Eminem denied him the use of the Oscar-winning song “Lose Yourself” for his presidential campaign.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Apoorva, the 38-year-old’s wife, said her husband and his team didn’t play the song during his “Fair-Side Chats with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.”
In the interview, the mother of three and throat doctor said if she could change anything from her husband’s campaign if she were running, it would be to not “rap as much as he does.’
“For what it’s worth, Vivek and the campaign didn’t turn on the music. It was from the folks of Iowa who turned on the music, so there was nearly nothing for us to cease and desist from,” she said.
“He loves that song – so it was a bummer,” she said, but added, “But that’s not at all an important part of this.”
What do you think Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign song should be?
