In July, NLE Choppa sampled Nelly’s ‘Hot in Here’ for his new track and was blessed by Nelly’s presence during his performance at the 2023 MTV VMAs.

Although many people didn’t like Choppa’s version of Nelly’s classic, Nelly has shown his love to the song and further solidified it by joining Choppa on stage to perform.

When Choppa initially previewed this track, Nelly cosigned the teaser and said, “Go Up Nephew.”
