R. Kelly still has to pay over half a million dollars to his victims for restitution but may see a big check coming soon because of his old songs.

A judge signed off on a order to garnish R. Kelly’s royalties and found out that Universal Music Group was still holding onto a lot of his royalties.

Because of this the company will use that money to cover the cost of his restitution bill.

His balance was $506,950.26 and turns out the amount of royalties the Universal Music Group had was $567,444.19 which is more than what he needed to take care of his bill.

He is still serving his 20 year prison sentence for the multiple sex crimes that he committed.

His old hits still are making him money but has had no luck with any popular songs as of recently.
