Jose Baez, Tory’s lawyer, did not let lose on the ruling of Tory getting a 10 year sentence saying “incredibly harsh” as well as “extreme” and that he was getting this punishment because he is a celebrity.

He also went into the prosecutors for making an example with Tory’s case and plans on appealing.

Tory pleaded to the court that he had a son that needs him and to make himself better and to give him a chance. He then went on to ask the judge for a opportunity to prove who he is and how serious the charges are.

He also talked about how the public views him and says he is not a monster without remorse and he apologized for what he did that night.

He then went on to say that Megan Thee Stallion was a friend and had a special bond. He took full accountability for what he did and asked to be able to prove that he learned his lesson.

He has been found guilty for shooting Megan Thee Stallion for 10 years in prison.

The sentencing went down on Tuesday in L.A. after having two days of hearings where he was facing 22 years in prison. The sentencing has been delayed for a few months where at one point Tory was begging to the judge “Please don’t ruin my life, sir.”

Tory was found guilty back in December for shooting Megan where a video surfaced of her limping out of their SUV with a blood trail behind her.

He had 3 charges against him where he was found guilty for all three, Negligent discharge of a fire arm, assault of a semiautomatic firearm, and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm.

The jury heard some cry’s from Tory’s family as his dad and stepmom shouted out “This system stands before God!” Where at some points his family would be escorted out of the courtroom.

There has also been a petition that had some rave online in support for Tory.

He then went on to hire Jose Baez where he was determined to help him out and saying he was confidant in winning and that there were many procedural errors happening in the trial.
