Nelly is about to have a huge payday coming shortly after he reportedly is selling rights to half of his entire catalog with some of his biggest songs.
From sources close to Nelly have informed TMZ that he has locked in a $50 MILLION deal and still holds 50% of his ownership on those songs, with 8 albums and most of his #1 singles that gained popularity during the 2000’s.
Nelly is reportedly joining with a company HarbourView Equity Partners to help this transaction work and to be able to receive the money he is owed and for his songs to be locked up like “Ride Wit Me,” “Hot in Herre,” and “Dilemma” along with many other songs.
Some of his best hits have even won him some Grammys including two in one year with “Dilemma,” and “Hot in Herre,” in 2003. As well for his song “Shake Ya Tailfeather.”
It has not been announced which albums or every song other than the ones mentioned will be sold to HarbourView, however with a catalog the size that he has I am sure they will get a lot of good ones.
Even with selling half his music he is still producing new music to this day with his last album being released in 2021 “Heartland.”
