Why In-N-Out Burger Isn’t Coming To The South or East Coast?
It’s almost a rite of passage for someone from the East Coast of the United States. As soon as you step foot outside a West Coast airport, you head to In-N-Out Burger. That’s because the cult-like burger chain says they will never open a location east of Texas.
Say it ain’t so!
Well, they have a good reason why. According to their official website, they refuse to use frozen burger patties. All locations have to be within 300 miles from In-N-Out’s patty-making facilities to ensure the freshest quality. Business Insider reports that there’s also another reason. Lynsi Snyder, the company president and only grandchild of the In-N-Out founders Harry and Esther Snyder, says limiting locations gives the chain an exclusive appeal.
What’s your favorite burger chain? I like Five Guys.
